Colorado PUC accepts SEIA request to simplify solar and storage connection

The Colorado Public Utilities Commission adopted recommendations from SEIA and the Colorado Solar and Storage Association to simplify interconnection rules and remove confusion for customers. The clarification will make it easier for residential and C&I solar projects to qualify for expedited processing.

SEIA creates Storage Advocacy Network to promote policy support for emerging technologies

SEIA announced the launch of a Dedicated Storage Advocacy Network, a new, formal branch of SEIA that will serve as the national and state advocacy group for energy storage. The nonprofit announced that it will shortly announce additional plans to integrate storage into its research and education offerings.
