Software program providers firm CleanSpark acquires California installer Solar Watt Options
Software and services company CleanSpark has completed the strategic acquisition of Solar Watt Solutions, a commercial and residential solar developer in Southern California. This acquisition of an experienced solar and storage installation team will accelerate CleanSpark’s residential plans along with the mVoult microgrid product line.
“We are very excited to be joining the great CleanSpark team. With their products and resources behind Solar Watt, we can accelerate growth in the California region, ”said David Watt, founder of Solar Watt. “We expect to grow and add new product lines while continuing to provide the excellent service that our customers have come to expect. This is the basis for our success. “
Zachary Bradford, President and CEO of CleanSpark stated, “Over the past year we partnered with Solar Watt to strategically expand our joint sales efforts. As a result, we added more than $ 10 million in executed contracts to our backlog following our transaction to acquire Solar Watt. This backlog immediately positions CleanSpark as a player in the California consumer microgrid market. In addition to executing the existing pipeline, Solar Watt will also form the backbone of the Southern California team for CleanSpark’s new mVoult product line for private households. We will continue to focus our efforts on the one-to-many sales approach nationwide by partnering with companies similar to Solar Watt. However, this acquisition will allow us to quickly scale the mVoult and residential property sales in Southern California, where we have a local presence, to large retail space. “
